About Dayara Bugyal Trek

An ideal trek for long weekends, Dayara Bugyal can be a perfect start for beginners. Dayara Bugyal trek goes through open land and dense forest at different places ending up at the vast  expanse of a lush green meadow. Most of the trekkers start their trek from Barsu village and they trek down via Raithal to see the scenic beauty of both the routes of Dayara Bugyal.
What makes this trek memorable.
a) Just imagine yourself at an elevation of 3408 mts and you are sitting in a
     beautiful meadow gazing upon the amazing
b) Himalayan peaks with friends by your side sipping tea. the chilliness of
     the place enhances the aroma and taste of the tea with a beautiful view of
     forests in front of you.
c) Now convert this imagination into reality by going on a trek to Dayara
     Bugyal.
d) Skiers also visit Dayara Bugyal in winters as the region receives heavy
     snowfall during winter’s.

Itinerary

Day-1Dehradun - Raithal ( Drive 174 km ^ to 7 hrs. )

Start your journey early morning with a meal and drive to 160 km to Raithal. Along Bhagirathi river, road passes through the picturesque towns like Mussoorie,Chamba and Uttarkashi. When you reach  Raithal,which stands at 7545 ft. stay in guest house for a night.

Day-2Raithal to Gui ( Trek 3 km , 4 hrs. )

This 4 km hike is a gentle ascent through spectacular Rhododendron, silver Oak and Deodar woods. An elevation 8530 ft., You will arrive at your destination for the day Gui. This is where the famous undulating stretches of green prairies known as the ‘Bugyal’ started. Set up your tent in perfect position and spend the night here.

Day 3Gui to Chilapada ( Trek 4 km 4 hrs. )

This is your acclimatization day at Chilaapada. Rest and explore the beauty of the mountain. 

Day 4Chilapada - Nayata - Dayara ( Trek 9 km 7 hrs. )

This day is the begin with 7 km ascent trek through the Chilapada  grass land to the high alpine meadow of Dayara Bugyal, Uttarakahnd which is the elevation 9,980 feet. When you arrive at this huge table top meadow, You will see the some magnificent peak such as Srikanth, Rudragaira, Gangotri I, II and III, Jaonli, Draupadi ka Danda I & II, Black hill Bandarpuchh and others. 

Day 5Chilapada - Nayata - Dayara ( Trek 9 km 7 hrs. )

Start the Day with a hearty breakfast before beginning your descent to Raithal, Which is located at an elevation of 8530 feet. After a 2 to 3 hrs. hike through a combination of ascents and descents through alpine meadows, thick forests and small rivultes, You will arrive at Raithal campsite. Arrive in the afternoon and depart for Dehradun same day.

  • Please fill up the registration form and pay an advance 30% to 50% of total Price and the balance payment is to be paid before 30 days of the departure date of the batch.
  • If you wish to do Transfer fund direct into our Bank Account, we will mail to you Bank details during registration process.
  • Cheque/Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘Yuvaa Pragati Adventure Treks and Tours’  
  • Payment against dishonoured cheque shall have to be paid with additional charge of ₹ 200/- per cheque extra and other Bank charges if applicable by Bank.
  • In case of cash deposit to our account ₹50/- shall be charged for each such deposit.
  •  If the balance payment is not made before 30 days, 15% of the Total charges of the camp/tour will be forfeited without any prior intimation and remain will refund by cheque in favour of participant as per detail given while registering.

In case of cancellation,

  • 85% of the Total charges of the camp/tour will be refunded 
  • 30-21 Days Prior Trip Date 70% of the Total charges of the camp/tour will be  refunded
  • 20-11 Days Prior Trip Date 50% of the Total charges of the camp/tour will be    refunded 
  • Less Than 10 Days of  the Trip Date have No Refund 

Only Written Cancellations by post or email will be accepted. Refund should be claimed within month after completion of the camp. Original receipts must be returned to us for refund.
